Appalachian liquid crystal
Bubbles up through cracks
In ancient stones
Cradled by dark mountain ferns
Caressed by pure pine air.

​

Springing eternally forward
Crystal becomes mountain stream
Dancing down through lofty meadows
Gaining volume surging ahead
Torrent glistens
In sunlight.

​

Racing river courses onward
Through towering forest reaching up
In praise of One who freely offers
Water without limit to
Souls otherwise
Insatiable.
